Dear Cattlemen and women:
Happy New Year! I hope everyone is doing well. It is time again for the TN Beef Agribition. Mr. Bob Morton will serve as our sales manager again this year. He did a great job last year and is working to make this year’s even better. If you did not receive a letter from Mr. Motion about consigning cattle, please give him a call as soon as possible at 931-842-1234. We need a great sale, good cattle, and great buyers to make this a successful event. If your cattle are not halter broken, we will have some pens available for use during the event. We plan to have a meal on Friday night, March 12th but are unsure as to the location at this time. This year, we will be having our auction online and in person. If you or someone you know want to buy an animal, you may sign-up to bid online. The AICA will be having an online auction this spring to help benefit the Junior Nationals which will be held in Perry, Georgia. If you would like to donate something other than cattle or semen, please contact Kaitlyn Chism at AICA or myself. If I can help anyone with anything, feel free to call me at 615-642-0976.
I have a few reminders that I would like to pass along:
- If you have not already done so, please remit payment for your yearly dues.
- Field Day is upcoming and will need to be discussed.
- We need to begin preparations for the Junior National held June 20-25, 2021 in Perry, Georgia.
